#1 What kind of harp will your harpist bring to the session? Acoustic harp, electro acoustic (yes that excists), electric harp, lever harp, pedal harp or else. Are you getting dizzy already? So yes, there are lotsss of different harps and as a producer you don't have to know everything about all of them. But it's good to know if your harpist brings an acoustic or electro (acoustic) harp to the session to prepare your set-up. Using an electro acoustic or fully e lectric harp? Lucky you, you can just plug the harp into your interface, just like any other electric guitar. If your harpist is playing acoustic, prepare a microphone set-up. Have fun!
